Forecast for tomorrow: “Sunshine”
In Charlotte, the sun shines almost all the time. Of course you cannot generalize this, but it is surprising, how many sunny days the year has in this city. It does not rain very often in Charlotte, but if it does happen, it usually rains heavily for an extended period. During the hurricane season (which lasts from June 1 through November 30), but mostly in the fall, it rains more often. However, it rarely happens that a major dangerous hurricane reaches Charlotte.
The average temperatures during the year are as follows:
Spring |
15-25 °C |
Summer |
25-35 °C (occasionally up to 40° C) |
Fall |
10-20 °C |
Winter |
0-10 °C |
Spring and fall are the nicest seasons in Charlotte since the temperatures during these months are very comfortable. During the spring, the many flowering trees within the city are really gorgeous. In the fall, the mountains are attractive with the Indian summer. Charlotte has a maximum of 5 snow days per year.
Due to the tremendous heat and high humidity, it might sometimes be uncomfortable outside during the summer.
