Please submit the following:

  • Income statement of the sponsor/ supporter, respectively the most recent income tax return
  • Bank confirmation of cash deposits in the amount of at least $26.480 (account statement or letter from the bank)

3. Letter of recommendation (2 to 3)

4. Internship Preference form

4. Test of English as Foreign Language (TOEFL) (submit your score).

IMPORTANT: Do not forget to include the financial support form with financial proof of $26.480 for visa-related matters!

Please make sure to allow extra time for gathering all necessary admission documents. The complete application should be sent to Pfeiffer Universities' graduate admissions office 3 to 4 month prior to your departure. You will receive the necessary visa documents (I-20) after you are accepted at Pfeiffer University.

Student and Exchange Visitor Information System (SEVIS)

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has introduced a SEVIS (Student and Exchange Visitor System) I-901 fee for all applicants applying for F, J and M visas with initial 1-20 or DS-2019 forms issued on or after September 1, 2004. All principal applicants for F, J and M visas must pay the new SEVIS I-901 fee. The fee amount is $100 for full time programs.

Students and exchange visitors cannot pay the fee directly at the Consulate, Applicants must use Form I- 901, the SEVIS Fee Application, available at to pay the SEVIS fee. You may have also received a Form I-901 from your school or exchange program. Once you have filled out the Form I-901 (either online or on paper), you may pay the fee online by credit card (VISA, Mastercard or American Express) or by mail with a U.S. dollar check or international money order.
